And they are shaping a new model of distributed generation that change profoundly the way we look at energy and the relationship with the territory
Almost 6000 (5991) sources in the towns of Italy, namely those who have installed at least one plant for clean energy in its territory, in 2801 more than last year. A growth that covers all sources: solar photovoltaic, solar thermal, mini hydro-electric, high and low enthalpy geothermal, biomass plants possibly linked to district heating networks are now common in 79% of the towns. And they are shaping a new model of distributed generation that radically changes energy and the way you look at the relationship with the territory.
From Monrupino (Ts) in Minervino Murge (Ba), Pinerolo (Turin) to Florinas (Ss), Italy is full of good practices and positive experiences. To describe the landscape of clean sources is the renewed common Legambiente Report, now in its fourth edition, which processes the data obtained through a questionnaire addressed to the municipalities and crossing his answers with studies and reports of GSE, Enea, Fiper, Anev as well as regional, local authorities and businesses.
The case highlights a significant increase of prevalence for all sources and parameters taken into account by showing how clean energy can be the best solution not only to get out of fossil fuels and save the planet from climate change but also to respond to the economic crisis and to look a bit 'optimism about the future.
